Week 10
Dr Chen would like to see me the week after I'm back from Bali, to ensure all is well.
So, here I am, to see Little EJ too

Since I'm in my week 10, he run through the usual scan required, Oscars or the new type, Harmony.
Oscars is a blood test (click here to read more), coupled with detailed scan, with accuracy of about 88%
Thus there are some cases where the result is not so good, will end up need to go for aminiostsis test to determine (this test has some form of risk as it involves having thin needle insert into your womb, to retrieve the amniotic fluid to do testing.)
Harmony test (click here to read more) is a new type of blood test, just started 2 years back.
This test comprises of genetic test, as well as gender as well.
The accuracy is up to 99.6%.
However, it come at a cost. :p
Oscar cost $300, Harmony cost $1,300.
Oscars result can be retrieved in 3 days, harmony, 10 working days (required to send to labs in US, thus the long duration)
Harmony test can do from week 10 onwards, and Oscars only week 12 onwards.
So, next visit to determine which to go for.
E already decided, might as well Harmony, since the accuracy is better, not like Oscars, quite high chance in false positive.
Shall tell my gynae in the visit (2 weeks later)
