Travel : Perth 2018 - Preparation

We went for our first trip together, as a family of 3.
Just three of us.

Chanced upon SQ promotion in Mar and decided we should take plane before Joash turn 2 (he don't need to pay).
Yearning for either Taiwan or Japan, but July is going to be a really hot month if we going for these two countries.
So, where else is cooling and doesn't need to take too many hours? Perth it shall be.

It is also a place i had dreamt to go to, because of the farms, and i was told, i can see lots of stars in the sky~

But so held up at work, and night time, by the time put Joash to bed, its bedtime for me as well.

Managed to only book my accommodation a week before the trip, and only planned out the itinerary a day before the trip. 😅

Prepared in my fav coffee joint, enjoying the birthday treat from them.

Some questions to consider especially when planning the first flight for the baby/toddler, in my view la.

1. Flight timing
Was contemplating whether to go for red-eye flight or early morning flight.
Decided with the later.

It going to be Joash first flight, so just in case he not used to it and not able to nap on plane, at least he would have good rest the night before the flight.

2. Duration of flight
As Joash will be 17 months at the time of flight, decide to go with 4-5hours flight as compared to much shorter one like Bali or Bangkok (2plus hours)

By then he can "walked" around and more things to entertain him, won't get bored.
Though the younger the baby, can also consider since they will just sleep most of their time. Haha

3. Location
To be honest, maybe a form of bias-ness but just feel western countries should be relatively safer as compared to "you-know-where".

More to come.. i need to think first. i did have a lot of considerations planning this first trip for Joash.
