Haenim UV Steriliser

Come across this brand, when we are signing up for Cord Life for Joash.

This is one of the free gift by them, for signing up for cord blood and cord lining storage.

Been keeping it in its box and not using it as it is quite bulky.

Plus i have a free steam steriliser too, from the Medela Breastpump promotion.

Had been using the steam steriliser since Joash is born, but ... wasn't so happy with it.

One, hate the fact after sterilising is done, the stuffs are dripping wet.

Two, the steam from it, especially if didn't time properly and its time to pump/feed, and the steriliser is started, had a tough time trying to remove from it without getting scalded.

Especially when its time to do pumping (and starts to leak!!), i still need to take the time to wipe the water off before i can start.

Quite a deterrent in pumping i must say.

That's when i remember i have this steriliser!

Read some review and realized it is also a dryer!

My mil helped to clear a space for this (it is bit bulky).

Here how it looks like.
It can be a mirror too (i had to use a cloth to block off the mirror, as the kitchen is bit messy)

Quite nice and stylish!

When it is turned on.

It has few modes, auto (consists of UV,and dry), UV, Dry, Storage

Each cycle takes about 30min ( for auto mode)

The storage is quite useful, every 2 hr it will automatically turn on UV for 1 min, for the next 8 hours.

This is to ensure the items inside are sterilised from time to time.

Just that me being kiasu, whenever i washed my stuffs, i will use hot water to wash the items before putting into the steriliser.

Now, really more motivated to pump, especially in the middle of the night!

So convenient, and time saving.

Also by being dry, no need to worry the water vapour will cause bacteria to grow inside.

Its a good way to keep the stuffs clean too.
