Light of the World: I'm willing (John 9:2-3)

Was reading and come across these verses.
In fact, these 2 verses keep popping out, whether in the random sermons I've hearing, or in the books I've been reading.

John 9:2-3New King James Version (NKJV)And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.
One might be quite baffled on why is that so.
To be clear, it is not from God.

When Adam committed the first sin, he had handed the devil the power to have worldly control.
All these are from the devil.

"God's plan for us, is whatever darkness that reaches our lives, He will use it for good.
God wants to use the difficulties we face for His glory, and He will, if we will allow Him to do so."
- excerpt from "trusting in His goodness" by Mimi Wilson / Shelly Cook Volkhardt

The key word is: if we allow Him
And the question is, how do we allow Him?

Thats where meditation comes in, and by reading His words, and to ask Him.
To see him as the light of the World, to see with my heart. To have heartsight, not just eyesight.

Dear Lord, please give me a learning heart and a willing heart, and to know and see You in Your words, not just by mere eyes, but using my heart.
Grant me the wisdom to hear You and to understand You more.

Amen.
